similar copy and faux-intrigue to a certain late 60's early 70s b-movie about swinging couples. i think the mistake here is going with just the type, no visuals.

This is possibly the most bland TV poster I've ever seen. HBO has had some quality posters, but this really is pathetic.

HBO continues its downward spiral from creative forward thinkers to behind the times missed opportunities. They hire every agency in existence and can't get a decent campaign to save their lives. Hmmmm wonder if its an internal thing..?

I really wonder who runs marketing at HBO? They do everything possible to not appeal. If the same folks who chose the programs were in charge of advertising HBO would have the best ads in entertainment. Instead they are the most counter productive.
