Open Art Director position
We are seeking an experienced Art Director with a strong background in entertainment marketing and a passion for exceptional design across multiple creative disciplines. This role requires someone who is equally comfortable developing conceptual campaign ideas, executing high-level design, and adapting creative across a wide range of deliverables.
While key art experience is important, this role extends well beyond key art and includes work across OOH, digital, awards campaigns, adaptive systems, and specialty creative projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop compelling creative concepts and execute sophisticated visual design solutions across entertainment campaigns
- Design and adapt creative for OOH, digital, social, awards, key art, and other campaign materials
- Execute polished, production-ready creative under tight deadlines
- Collaborate closely with creative directors, designers, producers and finishers throughout all phases of a project
- Contribute to high-level conceptual thinking, brainstorming, and creative problem solving
- Maintain organization across multiple fast-moving projects while tracking revisions and ensuring quality control
- Work efficiently under tight deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail
Requirements / Please Read Before Applying
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of professional design experience
- Prior entertainment marketing experience
- Must currently reside in the Los Angeles area
- Must be available to work a hybrid schedule consisting of both remote and in-office work
- Experience with key art and adaptive campaign systems

Other Qualifications
- Strong portfolio demonstrating typography, composition, Photoshop craftsmanship, and traditional graphic design principles
- Expert-level Photoshop skills are mandatory (advanced compositing, retouching, image manipulation, typography integration, and production finishing)
- Exceptional creative thinking and conceptual ideation skills
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
- Awards season experience is highly preferred
- Comfortable working across a broad range of creative assignments — not solely key art
- Highly collaborative with strong communication skills, while also able to work autonomously when needed
- Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple rounds of revisions and maintain quality control
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and works with a strong sense of urgency
- Comfortable with long hours and occasional weekend work during peak campaign and awards periods
- Positive, proactive, and enthusiastic attitude
