Typographical mess. Maybe they were attempting to emulate a Japanese poster because this would have worked if the type were actually Kanji. Western typewill always looks like a mess running vertically especially with the spacing between letterforms being so large. It's too jarring for the reader and nearly invisible on the quick read. The rising sun as the O is clever but it would have worked just as well running horizontally. The other problem with running the Title vertically like that is it has thrown the rest of type elements off a balanced grid.

Really cool poster. It gets a bit weird around the back of Matthew's neck, but that's just nitpicking. The title treatment alone sells it.

Saw these same comments yesterday for some other poster, dropping the 'photoshop execution' line 'disaster' blah blah blah - but no details. Just don't bother, you didn't get the job! (Oooooh, how DARE they do something unconventional with the TT!!)

This would be beautiful if all the type were layer out vertically like the title.

I actually like this poster.
Too bad it has to follow suit with everyone else and put all that text on the bottom.
