I understand this poster more anyway because of the previews Denzel Washington's a "sociopath" and that's probably why he's smiling and the tagline's just simple irony, geddit?

We've got two things here: People who get, and those who don't. Here's a man in cuffs who is still in control. duh. Simple execution for those who don't need information spoon fed to them. For those who do, there's other, more bleeding obvious posters available, like Contraband.

This has the ingredients to be cool, but with his funny expression not supporting the mood of the piece it comes off weird. Also and with technical malfunction like his hands being way to small in comparison to his head and body frame it all falls short.

To the point. Effective. Captivatingly graspfull. We need more posters like this. Textbook example of telling a story at a glance; too much information and clutter is too much info & clutter... Sure, the tag and title are receptive, but let's face it, a message of action, safety, incarceration, escape, serenity and revenge are unmistakingly conveyed. Nice work!

This poster is pretty self explanatory. Posters these days don't need to spoon feed information to its audiences. Just by looking at this poster, i immediately think of a crime/thriller film involving safe houses.

This looks good. Obviously it is a man who was arrested and is still calm and collected. The tagline pulls it all together. As far as a story, it's a teaser to grab hold of the viewer without giving it away. Well done.
