| Devil inside... and that SUCKED May 08 04:23:44am I agree with Patwell, this looks like the devil inside and they really screwed people over with that movie, it should never have been a major release but the thing played out like one big film trailer rather than an actual film so there was LOTS to market it on, rather than anything of substance. Its like serving some one a crap meal we may pay for it but WONT eat there again! So by visual association i'm not going to give this one the time of day. |

However, that font used in the word "Possession" and the "Based on a true story" tag-line sort of take away some of the power of the poster. But still, quite good art! |

| Patwell May 05 09:48:29am Extremely generic... the tagline, the "distressed" font, the "Based on a true story" BS... the idea of the hand coming out to representing evil inside her is kind of neat, but heavily reminiscent of such recent films as "The Eye" and its poster, or a scene this reminds me of in "One Missed Call". Not to mention just how much the theme, tagline, and font all call to mind "The Devil Inside" from earlier this year. Maybe that's intentional, since it was a big hit... but the backlash from critics and audiences was huge. That movie is reviled now, and making this one look just like it is probably not a good idea. Of course, I'm sure the movie is, in fact, generic, derivative, and an obvious cash-grab trying to ride on other's success - so maybe this is exactly the poster it deserves. |
