I think The Dream Lives is something that has to do with "I Dreamed a Dream", which is one of the musical's songs.

Some notes I would've given to the designer...

1. Weird merging of the tagline and the release date -- maybe separate them by a line or vary the type?

2. The bottom-left quarter is too crowded.

3. If you're just going to use the 200-year-old iconic drawing that everyone associates with Les Miserables, then use the damn thing! No need to be coy with the half-face -- this isn't a character set from your next cheesy blockbuster. And don't even bother with the texture and the gradients -- again, we have all seen this drawing a million times. No hacky Photoshopping necessary.

4. Just skip the title and the hokey tagline -- your poster should be the image (centered b&w no texture no gradient), the actors' names (as I'm sure their contracts demand), and the release date. You spent 10 minutes on this -- you probably could've done it in 5 with better results.

This is a good start to market the film. Appeal to fans of the show first then the general public in succeeding materials :)

Wish they could have found some way to stray from the already used and iconic logo, font, and image of Cosette. But again... this is a teaser... poster #1... and the beginning of amrketing... Hoping for the best with this one.
