Jennie Glendenning Aug 16 02:05:08pm This is boring. It's simply not representitive of the film at all. The painting they used in my local cinema is a classic piece of artwork which perfectly suits the type of film that it is. This poster on the other hand, sucks.

meh, doesn't really say much about capturing the vibe of the film, era date or whole 'spielberg' homage (which it is) seems more of a marketing design to sell it on that J.J. Abrams lost/clover field angle....maybe that's the film but its NOT the impression i got from the trailer AT ALL.

I don't know if you guys get it, but it mimics a strip of film. Love it.
(Note the guy with the tripod and the camera there).

Didn't quite feel it at first, but it's pretty interesting. Doesn't give anything away, which I like.
james
love it. I'm now even more curious about this movie. And this poster from far away just makes you want to run over and see what it's of

I can't decide which is more distracting, the whole sideways thing or the huge OMG SPIELBERG
jojo
interesting design, especially for a teaser poster.
but the next one should have a more retro feel to it since it's what the movie is
