i don't see the genius design here - completely standard, nothing special considering the legend the remake is following.

just the glove alone on a white surface with a few splashes, drips of blood maybe?

I don't think I've ever seen a better ''reimagining'' movie poster. It clearly defines a reinvented Freddy Krueger, and it seems to me to provoke the feeling of a non-stop thrill ride of pure terror!!!!!! Almost like an action movie.
