i think the frightened look on the boy might deter a few general moviegoers

I don't know anything about the book, but I hope this is an original image, because it's fantastic as a poster.

I like it. The only thing is the space between ''There's'' and ''one''. Just wish the gap was just a little closer cause it was the first thing my eyes went to.

The boy isn't frightened in the poster, he's a wild child. He's just roaring along with his new tribe. This is an excellent teaser and I cannot wait for fall to get here.

I don't like the look of the boy either. I probably would prefer a poster done in the style of Sendak's drawings.

PERFECT!

the boy is not frightening. I would assume he is ''roaring'' as in ''they roared their terrible roars''

the gap between ''There's'' and ''one'' was intended to draw viewers there as it is where the heart is??? ''There's one in all of us.''? that makes sense to me and since that white type can be placed anywhere in the darker tones, i believe that was a great piece of typography!

I think the boy should have a smirk on his face instead...very mischievous like

sbj03-20-2009 01:20 [E,W]
It's a great teaser! I'm glad they didn't give away the monster's face

OK Thats a way to get kids in to see your film. A Crying Kid.

anyone can see he is not scared - - he is yelling fiercely;
just read the tag line right next to his huge mouth: ''theres one in all of us'' ...let it out, kid!
as to people saying this is too scary for kids, that's what they said about the book in its day, and its lasted to become one of the favorite kids book of all time. thats what they said about Snow White and Wizard of Oz and every other substantive kids movie or book that deals with real issues and isn't some half baked crowd-pleaser like ''hotel for dogs,'' ''bedtime stories,'' or, i dunno ... ''air bud 7.'' ...have faith in your children's brains, people - they like to be challenged, and fear is an emotion that when accompanied well by a parents, is just as healthy to explore as happiness, sorrow, or anger. the end.

I contacted the studio and they did some focus testing and it turns out that Males 17-25 respond to better kerning between ''There's'' and ''One''. You can expect a reprinted poster within the week. Good call on that ChickenFeet. Call your mom, she's proud of you.

...the boy is letting out a scream. Not cause he's scared, either. It's in some old footage.

Alex02-03-2010 01:08 [E,W]
Luke, Max is yelling, not screaming. :P In the sense of child power. He is Wild.

I really wish I could get a poster like this in my room.
