Stephanie This is not final poster looking at all, it looks like a teaser poster. Most people won't be able to tell what that is! Not very good.
karaff Wow, this is really boring.
Ryan O'Brien A friend of mine who loves Trek, and this film especially, says this looks like a frozen yogurt cone to her
3D brush This is the coolest poster ever!
pimp chimp ID LIKE TO ROLL THIS POSTER UP AND SMACK IT OVER THE HEADS OF ALL THE PEEPS THAT MADE NEGATIVE COMMENTS. ITS DUDE.
jordan p. I think it's the Enterprise at warp speed in this confusing poster.
Dave For such a great movie, the posters and artwork are really weak.
jono man, i thought the poster was a teaser poster not the final one. anyway if your a fan then i guess you will collect it but it was a disappointment. the others look better. even my cat who scratches my trousers in the morning, that looks better. well hope the next movie poster is better.
iknowbetter not one ounce of creativity on this. did a 5 year old make this?
DEZ Look at it upside down its a flying iron. This is more for the fanboys than anything. It is ballsy to break the standard marketing mold I'll give them that.
rock'n reels not the worst star trek poster ever (that would be the one with the chair in space)but would have been a better teaser. remember the great bob peak posters? why not let drew struzan take a crack at one?
posterboy Like all great art, people are polarized over it. I find it bold, clean and most of all unexpected and non commercial. It reeks of confidence. Thank god it's not a montage.
scooty Yawn... looks like there is a rift in the time / space continuum - or somethin.
mob1900 Warp-speed ahead! and the shape is unmistakeble! Different but great!
Stephanie I have to agree with Bitter Lemmon, after seeing this on the street on the corner of a building it looks good.
jax great poster! someone in marketing had some balls!
Bitter Lemon After seeing this on the street I would like to upgrade my critique to an ''awesome'' it works really well outside.
Anne What an odd final poster, it is nice but odd.
Bitter Lemon Not keen on it but rather this than something gutless.
SpaceCadet Its the Enterprise hitting warp speed in reverse
graphic muse nice!
Tyler A It's a little late for a crappy teaser poster... isn't that what this is?
clow to the 'n' I agree with most of what's been said- If this was the first ad for this film- printed about a year and a half ago- it would have made sense and would have even been intriguing. seeing this poster now is like eating a bag of fritos after having dinner at spagos.
Joe the Designer This looks like an X-ray of a hip implant.
ChickenFeetAreGood2Eat I do agree this probably worked better as a teaser...but I do like it. It's kinda abstract in a way.
Mihir Shah this design after main faces poster...its senseless....this would have been first teaser poster
enzo As great-looking as this poster is, it seems to be an effort too little, too late.
Androo No waaay! Are they really going to market this big-budgeted movie with THIS poster? Usually it is very hard to say an honest worst or best, but this is truly the WORST poster I have ever seen!!! If the gross depends on a poster, they are up for a biiiiiiig flop....
Rob I'm liking that!
Ryan O'Brien I'd rather buy one of the floating heads off Ebay if this is the final version. This sucks
