Indeed it looks like the Iron Man poster, but better composed and much better colors. Also, it reminds of the old Star Trek Posters... all of them with big faces of Kirk and Spock and ships fighting.

yes .. first thought came to my head was ''Iron Man''

They keep recycling the headshots from the teaser campaign. There they worked. Here they are forced... and the lighting is inconsistent. I see the Iron Man resemblance, but I'm not a fan of either, really.

I like it. The floating heads are fine here. McCoy should take the place of Uhura or Chekov though. I think Chekov should go

Just Blech! It’s a festival of heads - yay? Looks like every paramount formula poster of the mid 90’s.

It DOES look similar to the Iron Man poster. But it still makes me want to see the movie. Nice work. :)

Anyone can design cool images now days but do they really make sense? Captain Kirk is in the foreground. At first glance Spock stands out more than anyone else, my eyes force me to look at Spock first. The design is not near ground breaking just the same old look.

Iron man part 2. Why did they leave out part of the cast? YOu have 5 of them, why not the other 2? No love for McCoy and Scotty.
Tim Quinlan
This poster really makes it what it is. It's brilliant and epic. It also defines the movie as an adventure type-film, like ''Star Wars'' or ''Indiana Jones''. Real good job to whoever made it.

I think this poster is the coolest! I love the blue tinting.

I disagree. Iron man did not have the same smooth transitions, or well designed balance. This kicks Iron man's rusty ass.
Anne
I agree about the Iron Man look. Also, since when did Sulu and the Russian kid get ahead of McCoy and Scotty?
Ryankat
Its a cool looking poster but is it me or does it look like one of the Iron Man posters?

I guess Paramount really liked last year's Iron Man poster.
