2009 Internet Movie Poster Awards - Creepiest Nominees

Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel
Sure, it wasn't meant to be creepy, but those CGI female chipmunks are just plain frightening!
Antichrist
Rusty scissors, blood, creepy faces on the handles... This Australian poster does a great job in creating a queasy feeling for the movie.
Pandorum
The fact that we can't tell what's really happening in the poster makes it all the more disturbing. Is this a person tearing their skin off? And where is their head... or do they even have one?
Saw VI
The annual Saw blood drives have perfected the art of creepy / sexy looking nurses and this year's entries are no exception. Love the droplets of blood on the eyelashes.
Terminator Salvation
The skeletal face of the Terminator is always creepy itself but forming it out of the burning ruins of Los Angeles was a great idea.

and the winner is...

Alvin and the Chipmunks 2. I have to say that Eleanor(the blonde one) looks scarier than Jeanette (the bespectacled one), though.

Antichrist. That poster totally gives me the creeps

HomerSimpson01-11-2010 16:19 [E,W]
The Alvin and the Chipmunks 2 posters don't creep me out at all they are so cute.

Tim01-11-2010 16:29 [E,W]
I'd have to go with Antichrist for this one. I love the Terminator poster... a lot... but it's just not creepy to me.

Ice Wolf01-11-2010 19:19 [E,W]
Antichrist

isaac01-11-2010 20:01 [E,W]
I'm kinda surprised that the list not with horror the most.
This one I'll go to Anti Christ and Saw VI.

movierator01-11-2010 21:32 [E,W]
the chipmunk poster should be cut from the creepy poster
it's cute and funny!
I think they should replace it with another horror poster
Like the ophanpin poster with the creepy loooking girl in it! but there should be more horror movie posters in the catergory! because there were some good ones!

gogogrrlo01-11-2010 22:58 [E,W]
Where's The Univited? Now that was a creepy poster!

dogsoldier01-12-2010 10:49 [E,W]

a bit disappointed with the nominees really. I hate the Saw nurses' posters and can't really see why Alvin And The Chipmunks are here. I'd go for Pandorum.

Kees01-12-2010 14:25 [E,W]
Antichrist. It's just a really plain yet effective way of scaring.

HomerSimpson01-12-2010 17:23 [E,W]
Why is Alvin and the Chipmunks in there? It's cute and funny not scary and creepy It should not be there! Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel is a kids movie not a horror movie! 9 is a horror movie! You should have put 9 instead of Alvin and the Chipmunks! Nice try!

Mostafa01-14-2010 19:01 [E,W]
Terminator Salvation

Rodrigo01-13-2010 20:19 [E,W]
I think that Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel's poster is creppiest than Antichrist. Jesus :S

HomerSimpson01-17-2010 22:44 [E,W]
I still think Alvin and the Chipmunks does not go there!

minlshaw01-13-2010 22:25 [E,W]
''Saw VI''. The others might be disturbing, but that one is just...mesmerizing...in a very haunting kind of way. Truly creepy, and I think the odd curvature of the woman's face and shoulders have a lot to do with that.

loonnatic01-19-2010 08:28 [E,W]
Disappointed that Orphan wasn't on the list. It was definitely the creepiest of the year for me.

Lewis Anderson 05-11-2010 06:14 [E,W]
The Uninvited should be there
