A motion blur on the pick axe like in the other poster would have really been effective here at creating the 3d illusion.
I feel like the other 2 ''background'' images of the guy in this poster should be less predominant to make the poster less busy too, but not bad for what I am sure was a difficult problem to solve.

this is sweet.. it has the whole 3d effect with the pick-axe coming out the poster and how it cuts between the credit texts...real cool... what throws it off for me is those lens flare effects on the helmet lights.
