Agreed. This is so blatant of a rip, it's silly. If you take Hoffman from ''Tootsie'' + ''Straw Dogs'', this is what you get? Perry usually has more interesting images than this, because his posters are much more interesting than the pile they're advertising. Yes, you can do bad all by yourself. You've been doing it for years.

This is Tyler Perry so of course there is no originality but this poster is such a blatant rip-off that it seems there ought to be a lawsuit of some kind.

The creativity is the use of Madea instead of Dustin Hoffman. The lack of irony would be acceptable, if the public accepted these movies for their dramatic weight. It's not plagiarism; it's false advertising.

I think you missed the point entirely of this ''parody''. This is one of those knee-slapping Medea comedy movies. These intensely dramatic (rose), violent (eyeglasses), and sexy (the blue girl) are all deliberate parodies of over-the-top serious movies. The parody is so good that you were actually offended by it's ''lack of originality''. LMAO!

Seriously, when will the shameless plagarism end? We've all talked about doing the 'Straw Dogs' thing for years, but to rip it off so directly and without an ounce of additional creativity or relevant irony is really unacceptable.
