Not sure why people like this. Its nothing but a picture of a hockey mask and as someone already stated using a hockey mask in a remake of the original Friday the 13th makes no sense whatsoever since it didn't even appear until the 3rd film. Are we to assume that they have just totally disregarded the original Friday the 13th story??

As if it wasn't bad enough that we have remakes coming out left and right, now we have remakes that are totally disrespecting the original films from which they are being made. Beyond that its still a boring poster. Solid black and solid white backgrounds are 1st year photography skills. Dont get me wrong there are some instances where they are extremely effective, this just isnt one of them.

Absolute brilliant Teaser.
The film itself can only thrive on such mystery brought through the shade around the mask.
The poster istself does great work in showing only the mask; as often in the film Jason's eyes are visual but this poster gives an eeriness of 'Nothing Human'.

I disagree with the nay-sayers, this poster is on point isn't over manipulated/tweaked. It's eerie and a very similar replica of the mask which started it all. Hopefully based on the new directors this movie will once again reclaim the gore glory it was known for.

The shape of this hockey mask just doesn't look right. It's like they tried to add too much facial bone structure to it. Besides, Jason wasn't even the killer in the first Friday the 13th and he didn't get the hockey mask till Part III. Is this a remake of some sort or a sequel from Freddy vs. Jason?? I guess the poster does work as a teaser.. got my attention. :)

Very good poster. Uses the black surrounding around Jason's mask that makes the whole poster a mystery. Very intriguing.

I'm not too sure about it. I mean, as a teaser it's effective, but I don't like the way the mask looks there. I know the mask looks brilliant in the film, but this shot just doesn't look good, at least to me.
