| meg | 05-21-2008 17:44 [E,W] | 'Get Some'? A last minute decision
to try and throw sex into the poster?
I think the tagline ''DRYER LINT'' would
make just about the same amount of sense.
If you need to try an throw a nonsensical
sex sell have the tag say ''THERE COULD BE BOOBS'' if
nothing else, it's kind of funny. Good image though.
I wonder if the designer was confused when they told
him to have the poster say 'get some'.
| | Louis Fish | 05-21-2008 18:24 [E,W] | | I think ''GET SOME'' is NOT intended as a sexual comment. I think it has to do with ''getting some'' of the THUNDER. Overall, an awesome poster. Downey is hysterical and Jack has a lot of great energy. I hope the film can live up to the poster. | | Jarhead | 05-21-2008 19:52 [E,W] | | Not everything is about sex, ''get some'' is a military term. | | Dave | 05-21-2008 21:48 [E,W] | | Meg, I think ''Get Some!'' is yelled in every military movie ever made. | | danny | 05-23-2008 12:05 [E,W] | | is it too early to put in a request for imp awards best character set? | | Roger | 06-08-2008 13:11 [E,W] | | I like the poster and glad for once they put the names over the right faces. | | Warren G Harding | 06-18-2008 03:07 [E,W] | | I liked the individual character posters, but this one is too crowded. They couldn't think of a unifying image for the movie, so just used them all. |
