| | marc | 11-12-2008 10:27 [E,W] | | At the war museum in london there is currently an exhibition of James Bond posters which perhaps the art director/designer here could have done with visiting before taking on such a task because, to be frank, this looks like something from a mail order catalogue |

i said exactly the same thing, like he was trying to sell us his suit
not good at all |
| | Monkeyman | 11-15-2008 12:19 [E,W] | Not the greatest BOND poster...
could've been better |
| | Cheesenip | 11-14-2008 14:14 [E,W] | | Lackluster . Disappointing. Evokes nothing. Designer should go back and review past Bond posters for the perfect design formula and Bond standard. Will not go down as a classic poster. |
| | Andie Paxton | 09-24-2008 15:40 [E,W] | I guess somebody is running out of ideas.
Where's the excitement of the previous Bond posters?
Extremely safe and utterly boring. |
| | Jon Carter | 09-27-2008 15:09 [E,W] | | Why do the final posters of Bond movies usually look like photshopped rushed jobs? Yet the teasers are always brilliantly designed. |
| | Jason | 10-26-2008 11:39 [E,W] | | This might be the worst poster for a blockbuster movie ever |
| | TG1 | 09-24-2008 20:09 [E,W] | They both look so grim and ruffled - not the usual 007 style, which is the ''in-control-always-dapper-ladies-man''. This one diverges greatly from every 007 poster I've seen.
So it makes me wonder if this will be the exciting, fun, adventure movie we relate to 007 - of will it be a dark, violent, brooding affair - like a Clancy flick without the clever plot. This poster screams the latter. |
| | Androo | 09-25-2008 05:36 [E,W] | Are they serious!? This is THE final poster? For a James Bond movie? Everyone, EVERYONE can make a lot more interesting design with their own photosop.
If movie posters have any effect on people this movie will bomb. Terrible poster and it's nothing compared to the old 007 posters! |
| | Matt | 09-25-2008 19:35 [E,W] | | Not the best Bond poster, it would make it look like Craig and Olga are coming back from a bad dinner party. 7.3 out of 10 |
| | Robert Sarkanen | 09-26-2008 16:15 [E,W] | Now, I get the supposed symbolism of the ''emotional wasteland'' Bond's supposed to be in, but all one really gets out of this poster campaign is that it'll be 2 hours+ of Daniel Craig hiking through the desert with either an assault rifle or Olga Kurylenko as his only companion.
What happened to some good ol' fashioned creativity? |
| | Robert | 09-26-2008 19:17 [E,W] | | An interesting choice for a Bond poster - especially if this is the final poster. Olga Kurylenko is getting equal billing visually and she isn't fawning over Craig like most women on action movie posters. She isn't being played for cheesecake and they both look like they got knocked down, kicked ass, and emerged victorious. |
