It's pretty cool what gets recycled these days and passed off as original art. Take this poster for example. Look up the 2006 poster for the film The Return...could it be the same art director playing another round of let's see what we can get away with for a client not spending enough money to warrant a real explanation? Or did someone truly believe they were re-inventing the wheel?

Adrian, that is completely different! Just because this poster also has an eye as the focus, does not mean it is a rip-off. I'm sure you can tell the difference between concept and literal subject.

Creepy and effective, though the actual work is a tad sloppy. look at how the fingers seem unobstructed by the eyelashes.
