Do any of you understand the point of an advanced Poster? It's something minimalist that is designed to catch your attention. It's the same concept as a teaser trailer, it's purpose isn't to describe the plot or show you all the characters; it's point is simply to catch your eye and make you curious. And I think this is effective in that. Nothing that I would buy and hang up, but it's effective at what it's designed for.

hmmmmm - is this a movie about an animated lightning bolt and his or her interesting comical adventures?... maybe something that creates ANY KIND of reaction - emotional or otherwise. This looks like marketing for a character no one associated with believes in... sound about right?

Considering its about an animated dog, maybe a picture of said dog would at least stir up some interest in mothers with little kids. This poster just looks like a knock-off of The Incredibles.

I don't know about you, but I really would've liked a turtle. Yes, it should have been a turtle.

Just out of curiosity (newbie2), what exactly were you expecting to see on a ''BOLT'' teaser poster, a turtle?

WOW! The movie is called Bolt and what?.. the art is A BOLT! Breathtaking creativity there. I can’t wait for the next big movie - FIRE HYDRANT.
