I think it's a great idea. Disgusting, horrifying, repulsive, but pretty brilliant. For those of you who are just too grossed out, it's wild boar photographed in a butcher shop. I think that makes it easier for some people to look at.

Since the poster doesn't give any hints as to what the movie is actually about -- and I happen to like it a lot -- it's obvious that at this stage that they are marketing to people who already know (and hopefully, enjoyed) the original Hostel.

JDF, in my personal opinion, I disagree with you. Saw and Hostel have done a great job in presenting what the genre they've created is all about. About time some horror movie franchises have stopped posting pictures of the cast in front of a black background.

How much lower can we go? Maybe this is it. Do the designer and marketing execs behind this unimaginative piece of fecal matter really feel good about themselves after printing such a poster? Sometimes there really IS such thhing as Bad Publicity and this should get the ball rolling. Worst Artwork of the Year -- Congrats.

These aren't even posters anymore...they're autopsy photographs. Nothing artistic. Not even intriguing. By Saw 6 and Hostel 10 I can't even imagine what they're going to be left with....
