It was just for Sundance...as if the 'man' would dream of letting this out.

hmmm... as a wo'man' I prefer degrading/offensive with at least a smidgen of clever/funny.

This poster was clearly designed by misogynists and will find ready approval with that same group of women-haters.

This poster is completely offensive and degrading to women. I don't think we would call it censorship if this poster were forbidden from the market; we'd just call it good taste. When are people with constructive, progressive ideas going to figure out that using women's bodies to sell things (aka selling women) is not a progressive thing to do?

If you really thought about what the movie was about then you would see that this is in no way 'mysogynistic' or anything else but clever and eye-catching. Hollywood has been exploiting Women for decades and this is simply making that fact blindingly obvious.

HAHA i love it.

I just think it's a cool poster

FYI there is also a male version of this...

I think that any hint of cleverness or irony intended to be expressed by the creator of this ad is undermined by the fact that it blatantly portrays both violence against women and the sexual objectification of women in a mindless way. Bad ad.

grae02-23-2006 03:46 [E,W]
quite stylishly done, don't think we'll be seeing it in the theatres though.

Conflict and controversy are written all over this...Why not just go with appropriate material to express the idea?

Rather funny comments. The film investigates MPAA and its strange restrictions towards sex and sexuality. The image is highly appropriate for the subject matter. And the comments about justified censorship only proves that point.
