The poster is an interesting artistic twist taken from the image of the caduceus symbol, the ancient symbol for medicine, which evokes some amount of familiarity while triggering deep-seated emotional suspense. I think the artist has done a fabulous job of morphing an ancient symbol of good into one that capitalizes on two of the most well-known phobias, fear of snakes - ophidiophobia and the fear of flying - aviophobia, which is akin to acrophobia, fear of falling (and in this combination, perhaps a third - claustrophobia, the fear of confined spaces) to excite audiences to want to see this movie.
