Obviously they went for a heartwarming vibe with Lange gazing lovingly at her boys, but the kid running on the snowy path does nothing except remind us the time of year the film was released (Jan. or Feb.). An image of Lange with that gigantic basket of catered food would have been better to convey the quirky tone of the film.
