You are right. There are two versions of the Mutilator one-sheet. Changes were made to obtain an R rating. You can visit kandjhorror's Halloween drawing for a few more comments.

There appears to be 2 different versions of this poster. The one shown here, and another where there is no blood coming out of the mouth of the guy who is second from the right. Must have been done for censorship reasons.
