This poster is a poor representation of the movie. The ghoul-images central to the poster do not appear in the film and it doesn't do anything to promote it.

Although almost a total misrepresentation of the film itself I find this to be one of the more intriguing film posters around. As a poster and marketing device itself it works on so many levels that it just may be one of the best posters around. I've already seen the movie, and I'd recommend it to no one other than for Donald Pleasence's performance...but after seeing this poster I think I'd sure as hell have fallen into that marketing trap to see it in theaters no problem! A brilliant poster!!!
