Sr. Art Director
The job:
Concourse Media is looking for a Sr. Art Director to create innovative, integrated and effective communications and experiences for our creative lab and content studio.
In this position, you will be combining digital expertise with traditional print and collaborating with editors, designers, producers and developers to define the audience and experience of these executions.
You will:
- Collaborate with Creative Directors, Design team, Brand Strategists, Social Strategists, Synergy & Promotions team, Project Managers, Development executives and relevant stakeholders to ensure that all assets are developed and executed to appropriately and effectively represent the program, as well as meet our brand objectives.
- Elevate the creative output of any internal partner or agency/production company vendor to ensure that all assets meet our high level of creativity, innovation and brand association.
- Able to manage a project from start to finish: from sketches, to comps, to directing a photoshoot, to the development stage, to overseeing a retoucher, to collaborating with production in the pre-press process, to create a final product
- Able to take direction, work collaboratively and participate in internal brainstorming sessions with other art directors and writers
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the creative and technical process, stay current with contemporary trends in typography, photography and design; and maintain expert knowledge of current software
- Produce editorial ideas, flatplans, layouts and mockups
- Design, brainstorm, build and execute innovative multi-platform native and branded experiences across the platform
- Create wireframes, sketches, UI/UX and final visual design for print.
- Understanding of the 4-color printing process and ability to handle press checks
- Create high level 3D renders

You are a self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as adhering to project timelines in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- 7 years experience at design firm, studio, network or advertising agency.
- Degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Film or comparable portfolio and experience
- Creative inventor and innovator with the ability to articulate big and breakthrough ideas in print, outdoor, social, digital, events and experiential that can effectively market entertainment content.
- 3D knowledge, Illustration and sketching ability a plus
- Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and execute national/international advertising for television series
- Strong computer skills, including a thorough understanding of graphics applications i.e. Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a sharp attention to detail
- An original thinker with innate design sense and style
- Must have a collaborative approach, the ability to work with others and to professionally represent the department at all
- A passion for the entertainment industry a must

Jr. to Associate Designer
The job:
Concourse Media is looking for a Jr. to Associate Designer to create innovative, integrated and effective communications and experiences for our creative lab and content studio.
In this position, you will be collaborating with the Senior and Creative Art Director teams, editors, producers and developers to define the audience and experience of these executions.
The Role:
The Junior/Associate Designer role supports the senior team members with all campaign projects from concept research to design implementations. The candidate must have a strong passion for design. Daily responsibilities will include executing on creative briefs for both digital and print, working with designers and art directors on seasonal image-based campaigns and production of approved design work.
Candidates should be passionate about the movie space as well as have a keen eye for photography, design, typography, and be familiar with current design trends and best practices for both print and digital. Flexibility and an interest in creative collaboration between multidisciplinary teams will be essential to help support the brand’s creation of innovative multi-tiered campaigns. Critical thinking, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills will be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support other Designers and Directors on the creation of campaign concepts, presentations (including mood boards & image presentations) and design studies
- Digital and print design production of approved design work
- Execute on creative briefs submitted from various departments and global partners - including emails, site assets, logo/branding design, misc collateral
- Contribute to the evolution of the brand image
- Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts
- Building additional internal partnerships with the Marketing team to develop collateral, event graphics, iconography, web content, presentations, infographics, and other additional projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- BFA in Graphic Design or equivalent
- 3+ years experience with graphic design and Adobe Creative Suite
- Demonstrates skills in typography, layout, hierarchy, branding
- Proficient with Adobe CC
- Communication skills – written and verbal
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS and Responsive web design a plus
- 3+ years experience with graphic design and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong multitasking abilities
- ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines.
- Some experience with photography and video production
