Theatrical Key Art Director

Objective: The Theatrical Key Art Director will be responsible for creating and communicating concepts from inception to completion, working closely with client services and creative lead. This position will develop and maintain theatrical one sheet design and creative outdoor campaign. Must have the ability to multi-task and adhere to tight deadlines in a fast paced multiplatform environment.

Specifics

• Balances strategic development with business/client objectives and goals
• Ability to create sophisticated campaigns for an array of entertainment properties, mainly in theatrical.
• Directs and balances original core creative services disciplines (graphic design, visual design, and information design advertising)
• Provides quality assurance of all creative deliverables
• Direct and guide Jr. level associates and freelancers, bringing the creative vision to life and completion
• Contributes to the innovative development of the creative department
• Partners closely with Project Managers and Creative Director and is responsible for properly communicating the scoping of design and copy to ensure deliverables are met
• Performs additional duties as assigned

Experience Required

• BFA preferred
• Strong design portfolio with 5+ years work experience
• Extensive knowledge and experience developing in theatrical key art, requiring imagination and or talent skills sets.
• Strong visual design and image-making skills and ability to articulate and communicate concepts and ideas, ability to lead brainstorming and concept sessions
• Expert in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and other benchmark design applications
• Experience with Adobe After Effects is a plus
